Asqueria: Wulfazblad Patch 1.04
It's our first patch day for Asqueria: Wulfazblad, a fun little side project to warm up for #PirateJam16 !
This front-facing RPG with roguelike elements is a short 30-60 minute adventure, with a few randomized elements to keep replays fresh.
The setting occurs in Asqueria's Era of Corruption - Probably around the same time as Distilled Soul, on the same continent Guilder. But while Distilled Soul took place in the haunting Marsh Ephemeral, Wulfazblad is set to the northeast in the forests of Theodan.
So what changed? A whole bunch. Probably the last major update before Pirate Jam!

🛡️Classes
- Characters can now properly level from 5 to 10! Auto Battle AI removed from Priest/Witch. Wulf still autobattles.
- All classes now have 2 Trinket slots, Witch has 3.
- All classes now have some damage resistances to element type (usually 10%ish).
- Witch and Knight Attack stat, and Priest Max MP, slightly reduced. Magic Def slightly increased for all.
- Priest can now equip Shields or Relics in the Off-hand (was only Relics)
- Knight can now equip Blades or Maces in the Main-hand (was only Blades)
- Rage/Mana costs adjusted for most skills.
- Reworked Werewolf transformation: Reaching 100 rage triggers 'Rising Fury' with a counter of 3. If it reaches 0, the transformation triggers until the end of the fight, attacking anyone. The counter diminishes after each turn, or when Knight receives damage. 'Rising Fury' is cancelled if you deplete your rage to 0.
- "Werewolf" counter: Each time the Knight's curse triggers, his rage will build faster for the rest of the game. You'll find alternate dialogues influenced by these transformations.
⚙️Systems & UI
- Added Reward System: After each fight, you may choose one of three random advantages for your party for next battle. However, if the curse was activated last fight, the advantages turn into penalties for the next fight.
- Reworked Preparing system: After each battle, you're given the chance to change party's configuration, like equipment, use items, review stats, save or change game options.
- Ending scene added: The game has a small epilogue describing the aftermath of your victory.
