ARES, is so hot right now
Following the redesigned interface for SafeZone, I decided I could very well try and use the same idea for the rest of the interface. One thing led to another, and now I’ve got a buttload of resources and content to rework send help.
Here’s a peek into the new UI (hopefully the final version haha seriously I haven’t slept)
With a more robust interface the game should be a lot more clear and intuitive, not to mention it’ll look a lot more polished.
Don’t you dare think for a second development is halted! Simply, expanded. ARES development is still in full swing as is my sleep schedule.
So, by all means, go play the game and give it a good heartfelt goodbye to the old UI while you can. The game is free to play, right here in the browser! Take a look if you haven’t! Leave a rating! Release me from this curse!
Thanks for reading, and I’ll be back again very soon!

Still haven't played this all the way through, need to play it again to see if I see any non-UI related issues, and just to see what happens
That’d be cool, I’m very interested on hearing about pacing and gameplay, I want this new version to be enjoyable from the get-go instead of a slow-cook experience as I’ve noticed.
There’s a lovely gameplay stream by Pyrotechnic on the jam submission page where he actually gets both endings if you’re curious, around the 2 hour mark.
